Graphic Design is design that organizes.
Graphic design communicates through the use of text and image. That communication might be a book, an advertisement, a package, a brand identity or any combination of those delivery channels. The designer must understand the unique qualities of each delivery channel in order to take advantage of it and to see the connections in order to build a large-scale campaign.
Our Graphic + Media Design students understand the micro-view of typography and the macro-view of solving problems. They develop their understanding of design theory and principles, their production skills, and their creative skills to organize, interpret, and enhance the visual message.
